What attracts me to a particular scene or object is the desire to recreate the feeling it invokes and of course, the sheer joy putting pigment to surface brings! I wanted to be an artist as a child but gave it up for a career in the Air Force with a second career as Marketing and Business Director. I returned to art 25 years ago and fell in love all over again. Starting with Watercolor, moving to Pastels and now working in Acrylic, I paint both miniature and very large-scale paintings.

My work has received multiple awards including: First place in Pastels at MasterWorks NM, first place in Acrylics at the Veterans Art Show and many merit awards in multiple exhibitions.
