In 2024, Dr. Jack Henningfield told me about research being done at Johns Hopkins University that indicates that people suffering from PTSD can be helped by landscape and nature photos and videos. That got me interested. Since then, I’ve worked with Jack on academic presentations and exhibits using my photos and videos. I believe in the power of nature to heal our emotional wounds, and so I’m going to continue to pursue this for as long as I can. This has included creating a YouTube Channel and continuing my collaboration with Jack. It also includes working with organizations like Santa Fe’s Unhoused Art – Vital Spaces program and the New Mexico Veterans Art show.
