I work in several mediums, including wood carving, pen and ink and colored pencil. Each has its own challenges and rewards. Several years ago, a pen and ink work I entered into a veterans art competition at the Raymond Murphy Medical Center in Albuquerque was selected to move to the national Veterans Creative Arts Competition. There, I received a third place medal award.
