I started doing digital photography in the early 1990’s, usually concentrating on photographing family and friends. Soon I was taking my camera to work and documenting the workplace and employees at General Dynamics Fort Defiance on the Navajo Reservation. My photography really took off when I took early retirement. When people asked me about my photography I usually described myself as a nature photographer. But over the years I’ve photographed private and public events, travel and sports. I enjoy working with individuals documenting events important to them. I don’t photograph weddings. There is a whole industry out there for that. I’ve had my pictures in galleries in Albuquerque and Cedar Crest. I participate in NMVA shows and exhibit my photographs in several private businesses in Albuquerque and the East Mountains.
